From Trash Cans to Wafer Frames: How a Taoyuan Manufacturer Serves 95% of Taiwan’s Semiconductor Industry
YJ Stainless (our parent company) has undergone a remarkable transformation—from manufacturing everyday stainless steel products like “trash cans” to becoming a trusted supplier of high-precision wafer frames for the semiconductor industry.
One of its key milestones came when, despite having fewer than 50 employees, the company secured a major order to produce thousands of trash cans for the Taiwan High Speed Rail. For a small manufacturer, this was an extraordinary achievement that required strict quality control and reliable production capacity.
This breakthrough was made possible under the leadership of Chairman Lin Kun-Yen, whose focus on precision, quality, and trust helped the company stand out in a competitive market.
More importantly, this project became a turning point—laying the foundation for YJ Stainless to enter the semiconductor supply chain and evolve into a leading wafer frame manufacturer in Taiwan.
